Crown 8100/1194Y Omega 43048 fits the old version of case and 8100/1220Y Omega 43068 fits the new version of the cases listed. Today Omega list old 43048 and new 43068 as being replaced by the crown 42524. 069ST42531 is the current replacement crown for your case. Not uncommon that current replacements look different than the originals, when the original crowns are no longer available. Note that 069ST43041 is discontinued, and 069ST42531 is the replacement for it. The correct original crown for the 168.005 is the 10-sided crown (8100/1080) but this crown is no longer available from Omega. The replacement crown is the 8100/1664 crown which is more conventional in appearance. The Seamaster has a non-gen crown and I like to replace it with the correct crown. To get the wheels spinning a bit faster I could buy one from an ebay dealer who has many different Omega crowns of various specs.
