I have a D-Blue and will add a Sub no date just because it will be a change and offer something completely opposite from the Deepsea. Smaller, all classic black dial and iconic symmetrical Rolex Submariner dial. Neither will .

Talk to a independent watch maker and see what they say. I would be tempted to by an OEM crystal from a ND and have it switched out and keep the OEM. I had this decision about a year ago and went with the no date. My rationale was that the Submariner was originally intended to be without a date when it was introduced and the date model was just sort of an add-on later. I strongly prefer no date on all my watches, the cyclops is so ugly. A Sky Dweller would look so much better without the cyclops. I tried to tell myself this wasn’t annoying for so long, but it really is (the date, if power runs out).
If wear multiple watches per week and the power runs dry between wears then a date quickly becomes the most annoying and inconvenient complication to to own. I strongly prefer no date on all my watches, the cyclops is so ugly. A Sky Dweller would look so much better without the cyclops. Watch is a bit less obvious for travel without the cyclops. Mostly the older cyclops has no AR coating and I have found it nearly impossible to read the date in all but the most optimum lighting conditions.
