Having said that not everyone was issued a watch and some preferred personal choice items for quality or sentimental reasons (or just to avoid having to sign out a watch). What's left of the serial number indicates ca 1950. Military NO. Unfortunately you have a mash up of a bunch of junk parts used to make up this unfortunate watch so don't bother trying to find "original" hands since there is nothing correct or original about the rest of the watch. Seamaster 30 didn’t have a date version at all. There was a date version of the seamaster 600 but I’ve never seen one with a ‘military’ style dial.
